the WIND project is an exploration of the Earth from the perspective of the invisible force that mixes our breaths in one. We let several air-light drone cameras be lifted and taken by the wind, following their trajectories until the last gust exhausts itself. The image recomposed from those multiple views gives a sense of movement that is generated by the fluid dynamics of air. Putting a cloud of eyes into air itself, these cameras yield images detaching from the anthropocentric view of the world and embracing the point of view of wind.
Since wind is an invisible force that passes us, in the everyday life we observe it from a stationary perspective, see it’s impact on the material world and listen to the way it whistles, gushes, whispers... What would flying with the wind reveal about it and about us?
